We welcome all figure skaters registered with Skate Canada to use our Open Ice sessions when space permits.

Out of Club skaters are welcome to:

Purchase single Open Ice sessions (buy-ons) as space permits
Register for eligible Open Ice sessions for the season
Participate in Edges & Turns group lessons

Before buying on, Out of Club skaters must contact NSSC Registrar.

Season Purchase

Out of Club skaters may register for any Open Ice sessions appropriate to their skating level. To register for a season of ice: Create an account in our registration system. Select the Open Ice sessions you wish to register for. Submit written approval from your home club to the Registrar. Complete payment prior to skating. Email home club approval and Skate Canada verification documents to: register@northsurreyskatingclub.ca If your coach is from another club, they must also provide proof of current Skate Canada registration before coaching on NSSC ice.

Eligibility & Payment

- Home Club Skaters may buy onto single OPEN ice sessions or program skater ice if you are a program skater or a skater with permissions ( no buy - ons for the Program Group Lesson Sessions) - Out of Club Skater may buy onto single OPEN ice sessions only as space permits. - Please bring exact cash or buy- on coupons (club skaters only) as we do not keep money for change at the arena. Any excess will be considered a donation. - No E-transfers

Rules/ Policies

- All skaters must be registered with Skate Canada for the current season. - Out of Club skaters must provide proof of Skate Canada membership through their home club. - Skaters will not be permitted on the ice until registration has been verified. - Buy-on skaters must report to the music area and pay before entering the ice surface. - The full session fee must be paid regardless of the amount of time skated. - Out of Club skater music will be played after NSSC skater music has been accommodated. - Music must be submitted in advance. Phones will not be accepted for music playback. - All Home Club and Out of Club skaters must follow all NSSC General Rules and Policies.
